Let's get frivolous for just one moment! You'll find absolutely no parallels in the world of AJAX with any other music on WAX TRAX whatsoever. "One World" is the beast that brings fear in to the hearts of many a mortal - The pure dance record. But, let it be said, every once in a while you've got to step back from the heat that WAX TRAX records radiate and take a light hearted prance on the Dance Floor. That said, let it be also be noted that AJAX are no frumps when it comes to laying down something original and effervescent. The latinesque beat generated by Mitchell, Michael and Michael (All manhattanites) is as infectious as anything you'll find in the modern whirl and yet still retains an intelligence that many dance records unerringly (And stupidly) avoid. Maybe the mix has got to do with that. But then mix is in the superbly capable hands of master DJ Mark KAMINS - Karen FINELY, Sheik FAWAZ, etc, etc!
Look folks, your buddies in Chicago haven't steered up you wrong up to now. So why should AJAX be any exception to the rule.
