Short History, Discography & Links The group was formed in October 1981 by Albanian-descended Drita KOTAJI (See INK.) together with main writing partner Simon RIGOT (Guitar and saxophone), Manuel 'Manu' POUTTE (Keyboards), and Pol FOURMOIS (Bass). The name was taken from a spoken line in the single by kitsch Swedish chanteuse Virna LINDT, Attention Stockholm, and the first notable band project a video for a song called The Choice (aka Adrian & Jonathan). Early material was heavily influenced by the prevailing 'cold wave' sound of the time, with a sparse, minimal sound occasionally redolent of THE CURE and ANTENA. |
