THE CASSANDRA COMPLEX are a four-piece European band, who in the last few years have become one of the leaders in the movement known as "Electronic Body Music", though THE CASSANDRA COMPLEX prefer to call their music "Cyberpunk". Their work is based on a wide range of influences, from music, films, science-fiction, religion and anything else they can think of. Their music cannot described simply, varying from hard, driving, distorted proto-punk to funk and house rhythms, to melodic ballads, and everything in between. This eclectic approach is unusual in the music scene today, a fact that continually amazes the members of the band, who feels that music should attempt to reflect every facet of the modern world.
Singer, instrumentalist and all-round guru of the band is Rodney ORPHEUS. His interests include occultism, comics, role-playing games and watching a lot of TV.
