Mario VAREWIJCK and Eric VAN WONTERGHEM were members of THE KLINIK and VOMITO NEGRO, both bands were trendsetting for the gloomy electronic scene.
Unlike many other electronic bands with distorted voice, INSEKT menace and tease and never forget to add a simple melody line.
INSEKT prove to skipped all genes blank of what was left in their minds of THE KLINIK and VOMITO NEGRO and poundered a collision of new samples and late seventies sounds from the Sheffield school (CABARET VOLTAIRE, HUMAN LEAGUE, HULA).
INSEKT as a duo mix the rhythm and kick in slices of irresistible nasty strings.
