History

MODERN CUBISM is the gathering of various personalities - Jean-Marc MELOT (CSYGNUS) and Jean-Luc DE MEYER (FRONT 242) around a common project: the transposition into music of poetry. To sing poetry on electronic music, only a few did dare so far.

To combine sounds and electronic melody, lyrical singing and texts bring an innovating dimension to the contemporary electronic music, sometimes very bitter, very dark but in complete symbiosis with their artistic view.

The album dedicated to Charles BAUDELAIRE "Les Plaintes d'un Icare" is the first piece of a triptych. They are currently working on the second opus based on Belgian poet Géo NORGE.

The duet is accompanied by Fabienne DANLOY (Vocals) on the album while Annick MOERMAN (Vocals) and Gaston HOLLANDS (Drums) are joining them on stage.
