Short History, Discography & Links
Originally a studio collaboration between Al JOURGENSEN (MINISTRY), Richard 23 (FRONT 242) and Luc VAN ACKER, REVOLTING COCKS emerged into the music world with their iconoclastic single "No Devotion". It's success inspired a follow-up full LP entitled "Big Sexy Land". This collection of cultural debris an recycled headlines created music that directly reflects the violence and decayed state of our world. Their cynical social commentary and general chaos discovered on this record soon became the REVCO trademark.
In early 1987, REVOLTING COCKS shifted from a studio project to an actual performing and touring band.
Following the departure of Richard 23 in late '87, Al JOURGENSEN recruited FINI TRIBE's Chris CONNELLY as a vocalist and drafted fellow MINISTRY members Paul BARKER and Bill RIEFLIN to complete the line-up.
